Kraftwerk offer free downloadKraftwerk have joined the fight against nuclear reprocessing by offering a free download of their track 'Radioactivity'.
The electronic act are supporting 'Stop-Rokkasho', an organization that aims to inform about the dangers of the Rokkasho-mura reprocessing plant in Japan and nuclear reprocessing in general
Visitors to stop-rokkasho can stream the full-length version of 'Radioactivity' and a special edit download mp3 is available on the site or via the stop-rokkasho iTunes podcast. MIKA releases debut DVD
British global pop phenomenon MIKA releases his debut DVD 'Live In Cartoon Motion? on November 12th 2007.
'Live In Cartoon Motion? is packed to the rafters with exclusive never before seen footage. Highlights are a 50 minute documentary and a 60 minute live show shot in Paris earlier this year. The documentary was shot on MIKA?s worldwide tour highlighting his global escapades through 2007.
The live show was recorded in front of 4,000 fans at the Paris?s world renowned L?Olympia venue. The performance has been shot by acclaimed director Matt Askem, famed for his work with Muse, Paul Weller, Lenny Kravitz and David Bowie, amongst others.
The release of 'Live In Cartoon Motion? comes as MIKA?s debut album 'Life In Cartoon Motion? is now the second biggest selling album of the year, just behind Amy Winehouse. The album has sold an additional 2.3 million copies around the world.
The DVD release also coincides with MIKA?s biggest UK tour so far:
